    WiFi Driver installation

    hi guys , im a newbie user in linux and im using the kubuntu 9.04

    im currently Using the TP-Link USB WiFi adaptor -Model: TL-WN821N

    and i need to install this driver to be able to have it work on my Kubuntu

    Driver Version : ar9170

    any idea how do i install the driver ...pls giv me a guide as this is my first time...

    and wats Kubunt 9.04 kernel ?

    Uh oh. If you're using a Windows driver then you need to go through some special procedures (ndiswrapper, I think). I've never done that before, so I'll leave further details to the more experienced hands.

      not shure if it's suported by the kernel nativley..........(the kernel is the bace system) .....

      if you have the windows drivers for it you can use ndiswrapper to install it but thats not a garenty it will work.

      copey the XP drivers off the cd to a folder in /home .... make one named ...drivers ....and put them thare ..........then get back and I'll walk you thrugh the steps.

      or type .... man ndiswrapper .....in a Konsole and read.

      if the ubuve comand dosent produce a man page then you nead to install ndiswrapper first
