Kubuntu Screensavers (.deb)

I'm looking for Kubuntu screensavers in .deb format to download and use. I've so far only found .tar.gz-files and I'm not getting them untarred, built, etc. I'm having endless problems trying to resolve my stupidity in un-tarring.

Could someone please provide me with a few links?

Hello!

I am just new to this community, Kubuntu and Linux in and of itself and I don't know if this is what you need but I wanted some screensaver action too and found some in Synaptic. Its called xscreensaver. Works great!

Like I said though, don't know if that is what your looking for, but thought I would throw that out there for you.

There is also a package in the repositories called rss-glx, which has a wide selection of 3d screensavers which are also worth a look.
