kubuntu boot confused

hey any body ou there i install kubuntu and i install compiz you know the basics wan and ect...
but i chest boot my computer today and but is no longer kubuntu is ubuntu damn any ideas what couse the problem any help please

You probably installed the ubuntu-desktop package while installing compiz. Just select a KDE session in the login menu.
