OKay, I installed Firefox b/c konqueror wouldn't automatically delete my history, cache, history after I exited. Somehow the bars on Firefox are wacked out. It started out fine, but then after I opened it the twentieth or thirthieth time, it rearranged the toolbars. The address bar is completely gone, I'm using Konqueror right now. I tried to use sudo apt-get remove --purge firefox, as someone else instructed me to do then I reinstalled it, but the problem still persists.

shutdown firefox, and delete the ~/.mozilla folder and then restart firefox. backup bookmarks and whatever else you want first though...this will delete all custom settings for firefox.
I assume that you have already gone through the view menu and tried restoring that way...
