How can i install the drivers?

Hello ladies and gents i'm new here and general with Linux (Kubuntu)!
I don't know anything i can say but it's ok!!!
I instaled kubuntu and i'm ok!
But my problem is that i dont know how to install the drivers
I really need help!!!
I don't know what to do!!!

I instaled kubuntu and i'm ok!

If it works, it works!

Linux doesn't need lots of separate drivers.

Is there anything that is NOT working for you now?

I need drivers for my graphic card for example!
It saw me that the maximum resolution is 1280 x 1024 but the maximum that i can use is 1680 x 1050!
i'm sorry for my english!

Can you see in your menu a thing called "Restricted Device Manager"? Run that and see if your video card appears. If you are connected to the internet it might download and install the correct driver.

Do you know what your video card is? Nvidia? ATI? Something else?

Run "Restricted Device Manager" first and see what happens...

Next, try installing Envy.

Connect to the internet, open a Terminal and issue the command:

sudo apt-get install envyng-qt

"install the ATI or the NVIDIA driver
EnvyNG is an application written in Python which will download the
latest ATI or NVIDIA driver or the Legacy driver (for older cards)
(according to the model of your card) from ATI or Nvidia's website
and set it up for you handling dependencies (compilers, OpenGL,
etc.) which are required in order to build and use the driver."

Then run Envy. Then reboot...

i have the gigaset usb adapter 108 by Siemens!
how can i do it to work to have internet at Kubuntu?
(i'm working with dual boot)
(XP-Kubuntu)

Gigaset usb adapter might be a bit harder. Google: ubuntu siemens gigaset usb adapter 108

It looks as though it needs to be installed using ndiswrapper. Basically you use the windows driver and "wrap it up" for Linux.
