hello all, I have been a long-time windows user and tech and decided to expand my palette to include a little bit of linux...kubuntu 9.04 to be exact. 
I have pretty much gotten everything else setup...except for my audio...
I have checked all of the settings in kmix and alsamix and everything *seems* to be correct, however, I have no sound out of my speakers. I have tested my Logitech USB headset and it works flawlessly, but still no luck with my speakers...
I have the soundblaster live 5.1 card and my speakers are setup using the Digital DIN...basically it is a 9-pin plug that runs to my creative labs speaker system. I have toggled the "SB Live Analog/Digital" under Settings > Configure Channels in KMIX and have toggled the "M" in alsamix without any luck...
Any other ideas?
