Change of icon styles

Hi guys. I would like to change the default icon set on my Kubuntu9.04. I downloaded and applied new icon set including also new folder icons but there is no change on desktop or other folders when browsing (default folder icons).

The only change I noticed is in dolphin on left side (places?).

I change icon set via Appearance > Icons > Change.

HOW CAN I CHANGE THE ICON SET?

You need to log-out and in again, or maybe try a re-boot.

I did logout, reboot and nothing still the same old icons.

What flavour of Kubuntu are you running? (Hardy, Jaunty, etc.)
