    Kubuntu Books

I am a new convert to Linux and Kubuntu and I am finding the learning curve to be a bit steep
Are there any good books on Kubuntu and Kubuntu DOS?

Are there any good books on Kubuntu and Kubuntu DOS?
    The short answer is no.

The long answer is that Kubuntu is the KDE version of Gnome Ubuntu and one of the first skills is to translate from Ubuntu to Kubuntu.

    Look at
    1) "Download the Linux Starter Pack" on http://www.tuxradar.com/linuxstarterpack
    2) "Ubuntu Pocket Guide and Reference" on http://www.ubuntupocketguide.com/index_main.html
    3) "Ubuntu Linux Resources" on http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/index.php

A valiant attempt at a "Kubuntu Guide" is at http://kubuntuguide.org

"The Official Ubuntu Book" includes bits about Kubuntu.
"A problem well stated is a problem half solved." --Charles F. Kettering
"Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple."--Dr. Seuss

Apart from the above answer, there is general good information available on
      the linux documentation project http://tldp.org

You can find answers to specific questions by using the FAQ, Kubuntu Wiki and this Kubuntu Forum including Howtos http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/index.php?board=53.0
