How do you refresh the taskbar and show desktop?.

I removed a few things from my taskbar when I was messing around with it and closed my "Show desktop" window. How would I go about restoring these?.

rite click the taskbar point at panel options and click add widgets and put back whatever you took off.

what do you mean shoe desktop window?

if you were on the dashbord then right click the cashu (top rite)

Thats the issue. I don't know what I took off. What comes default with the task manager?.

And for the desktop, I got that back already.

you can add a new user with kuser, and then login to this account. Probably the new desktop will be the default.

lets say that the initial account you have is "myaccount" and the account you made is "newaccount". In the following code you will change those names with the real ones you have.
open konsole in the initial account (myaccount) and type.

cd
cp .kde/share/config/plasma-appletsrc .kde/share/config/plasma-appletsrc.bak
sudo cp /home/newaccount/.kde/share/config/plasma-appletsrc .kde/share/config/plasma-appletsrc 
sudo chown myaccount .kde/share/config/plasma-appletsrc

After that you will have the default kubuntu taskbar.

Nah, its cool. After deleting ~/.kde due to a earlier issue everything is back to normal.
