Hello, I"m not sure if this is the right section, but I requested the free CD, and I'm wondering if it is 32-bit or 64-bit. It doesn't say anywhere on the disc, but I tried it on my cousins 32-bit PC, and it worked. I'm just wondering if the version I got is the 64 bit...

I would suspect that if it worked on a 32 bit computer then it's most likely the 32 bit version. -

a 64-bit operating system will not run on a 32-bit system unless the disc has both OS's on it which i highly doubt although it is still a possibility, it should say somewhere within the installation or the system properties...Comment

Ok, so could I use the Free CD to install the OS, burn a new disc with the 64 bit version, delete the current OS, and install the new 64-bit one?Comment
