Konqueror displays about:konqueror when you first open it, and is configured to use your /home/username directory as your home page. If you want the home icon to bring up the introductory page, follow these steps:
    • Open the Settings menu.
    • Choose Configure Konqueror...
    • Choose Behavior
    • Delete the path in the box next to Home URL:
    • Type about:konqueror in the box.
    • Left-click the Apply button.
    • Left-click the OK button.

    Enjoy.
