    How to install KSH88 on my Kubuntu ? Need it to code office scripts offline

    Is there a way to install KSH88 shell on my Kubuntu ?

    I am working on changing some of the office scripts (running in AIX 4.2 which is using KSH88 shell).

    I am looking into ways to test coding strips while at home. I have no remote connection with this system.

    The shell commands used are only basic ones. There is no need for system specific commands.

    KSH = Korn Shell

    Korn Shell is available from repository.

    Connect to the internet, open a Terminal and issue the command:
    sudo apt-get install ksh
