Amarok Trouble

When playing music through Amarok, its doing fine. But it will not submit what I've listened to over to last.fm

Also, is there a downgrade to the previous version of Amarok in Synaptic?

I have found this PPA https://edge.launchpad.net/~bogdanb/+archive/ppa which contains a modified version of the latest amarok 1.4 for jaunty.

This packages are named amarok14 and have conflict with amarok 2, so the won't get updated with amarok 2 in Jaunty.

Remove amarok 2 using synaptic. Add the PPA , then open synaptic, hit reload, and install amarok14.

I can confirm this, and my password seems correct (I can login to Last.fm via Konqueror successfully).

I'm rather fond of Amarok 1.4 myself, but if you want to use Amarok 2 with last.fm, here's a repository with a version that logs in correctly: https://launchpad.net/~fabulous/+archive/ppa

Yes there is a nice working downgrade for that amarok 2.x
