I have a new 9.04 install running as a virtual PC on my Windows XP host and all the sound is distorted. I am unable to use the equaliser (KMix) to see what is going on because KMIx will not open.
I had similar audio problems when I first installed Ubuntu hardy as a virtual PC, but when I update to 8.10 all the problems went away.
Any ideas?
I uninstalled Kmix and reinstalled it and it still won't open.
