Kubuntu 8.10 and Macbook 5,1 questions!

Hello fro Greece. First of all i admire your will to build stable OS as well provide strong support for it.
I have some questions, i tried to install Kubuntu in my MacBook 5,1 and i did it, after that i tried to install all packages from the mactel ppa repos and configure my system according to this wiki https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBook5-1/Intrepid which is for ubuntu.
But, and i think it is a noob question, i couldn't find the /etc/module location. I installed gedit but still nothing, Does anyone has a clue about what must i do?i hate gnome and i don't want to go back

are you looking for

/etc/modules

If you want to edit it, you will need to sudo for root privileges:

sudo gedit /etc/modules

thank you my friend!i figured it out, now i have another problem, i can't find the synaptics configuration file 11-x11-synapics.fdi
any ideas where it is hiding?
