Suddenly, I was getting some Page not found error messages on my net browsers, either FF or Opera, on both Kubuntus and some "the connection with update server failed" on Windows while trying to update my antivirus virus definitions...
On Kubuntu I disabled ufw and restarted the PC to no avail. I could only open gmail, yahoo, some other pm service and that was all I could do... I couldn't even access this forum...
Now I'm on Windows and I can even post this but it doesn't mean everything is working as usual...
Could someone point me to the right direction towards solving this weird (eth0) internet connection issue?
By the way, I'm using wicd, which uninstalled network-manager several days ago...
