"no terminal found" + X session problems

Hi I have been looking around the web for a few days now and I have had no luck NONE at all.

My problem is: I cannot fully log in until I get 2 ERROR messages.

    (FAILSAFE) Login...

Xsession: unable to launch failsafe X session --- x - terminal - emulater not found; aborting

    AND

    (DEFAULT) Login...

Xsession: unable to start X session --- no "home/owner/.xsession" file, no "/home/owner/.Xsession" file, no session managers, nowindow managers, and no terminal found; aborting

The best that I can tell you is that I was removing some programs and updates when I must have deleted something important
IF ANYONE can Help I THANK YOU MUCH

Well, if you can't even open a terminal session, you better backup your data and reinstall...
    Multibooting: Kubuntu Noble 24.04
    Before: Jammy 22.04, Focal 20.04, Precise 12.04 Xenial 16.04 and Bionic 18.04
    Win XP, 7 & 10 sadly
    Using Linux since June, 2008

Can you log into the terminal (ctrl-alt-f1)? If so, a sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop might reinstall the important packages.

But it is still a no go on the login
        I have also tried "sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

A couple of others come to mind. I think Hardy still uses the 3.5 KDE so
          "sudo aptitude install kde"
in case you uninstalled kde or kwin. Also
"sudo aptitude -f full-upgrade" to get all the latest. If you still have no login try
          "sudo aptitude install kdm".
Have you tried to restart KDM since your install? If not try
          "sudo invoke-rc.d kdm restart"

            Your xorg.conf could be currupted.
Try this: after boot, in Grub, select Kubuntu .... (RECOVERY MODE).
Then at the presented menu, select "try to fix xserver" (or something like that).
The other thing is, do you use Nvidia? try reinstalling the original driver.
            That works for me.
