    installing g++

    i don't have internet connection. i want to g++ compiler on my machine. i ried installing the debian packages but there are too much of dependencies. i s there any easier way to install.
    2. for what do we need libstdc++?

    Well, if you have gcc, you should be able to compile g++ from source. But you can also always download the .deb package from ubuntu repositories on the web (packages.ubuntu.com) along with all dependencies you think you will need. Then, when the installer complains that it needs another package, just download it, copy it to your computer, and install. I think there is no easier way.
