Not possible to login after openGL mode change

    Hello,
I was trying to fix a screen flickering issue, testing different desktop effects configurations, then I changed the OpenGL mode to (I think) fallback. Then the screen turned black and took me to the login screen. Now, when i do the log in, the KDE splash screen appears as it normally do, however, the screen then turns black with a few rows of white letters (too fast to read) and thereafter back to the login screen again.

If I change session to Genome, it loads normally.

So, I wonder if there is a way to change openGL settings from Genome, or what else can i do?

    Thanks in advance.

I have kubuntu intrepid ibex and genome version 2.24.1

Under Gnome, select the "System" menu, and then choose "Run".

    Then type
    Code:
    systemsettings
That will bring up the KDE4 control center.
    The answers are out there...

      THANK YOU!!
      Problem solved.
For other newbies: Did not find a "Run" option under "System" menu, but what i did was to open a terminal session (under applications) and run the indicated command. Then the KDE4 control center showed up.
