Re: Is it possible to vire RAW photos on Kubuntu ?
As far as I know digiKam in the newer releases has support for many raw formats through kipi-plugins. I don't use this functionality myself and I am not certain about which versions of the software is necessary. The .raw format is camera specific (different from camera to camera) and you need to check if digikam supports your camera.
A new version of digiKam for KDE 4 will be available in 4 days, you may want to wait a little :-)
Digikam's homepage can be found at http://www.digikam.org
You can probably find more information about raw-ability for your camera there.
Re: Is it possible to vire RAW photos on Kubuntu ?
There is no substitute for testing on your own camera's format when it comes to raw image files. And yes, excuse me for not mentioning alternatives to digikam, but a serious publication not mentioning digikam as one of the 7 best isn't
Re: Is it possible to vire RAW photos on Kubuntu ?
There are a number of RAW plug-in's available for GIMP. Don't know if any apply in your situation but you may want to give them a "wang". Just search on GIMP and they should pop.
