    KDM vs GDM

    i usually install ubuntu then kde
    but one time i tried to do it and when kdm came up it worked,
    but then when i logged out and logged back in it didnt work
    this was in breezy
    it is better to just install ubuntu then kubuntu

    Can you be more specific than "it didn't work"?

      ok, i was hoping you guys would figure this out for yourselves but...
      i think youthforlinux is a "baiter" (and a masterful one at that )
      not sure i understand the motivation but he/she likes to lob these fat pitches in for eager helpers to take big swings at.

      check the post history for some obvious inconsistencies.

        i dont think so
        though i like to start good conversation and increase my knowledge and to get the ubuntu/kubuntu communities thought and views on a particular subject that i would like to know more about 8)
