I goofed...

I managed to accidentally remove the widget that shows the active programs on the panel across the bottom of KDE 4.2 and I can't figure out how to get it back...

I'm not sure I'm explaining it well but any help would be appreciated...

Probably it's the "taskbar". So, right click on the right end of the panel and "unlock widgets". Then right-click again and choose "panel options" and "add widgets" and add the taskbar widget. Then you need to "lock widgets" again when you finish.
