          Re: frostwire/limewire

Go to the Limeware official site and download the file for Linux that ends in .deb.

You may be offered th opportunity toi automatically install the file using Kdebi. If not, after downloading, simply change directory to the one where you download the file and issue the command

          sudo dpkg -i nameoffile

where nameoffile is the name of the file you downloaded.

The problem with trying to install the other file you downloaded is it has to be unpacked first. You will notice it is a zip archived file.

Did you download the LimeWireLinux.deb file from the LimeWire official website I linked to earlier? Where did you save the file too?

OK, open your file manager, find the file, and double-click on it and see what happens.

                          Re: frostwire/limewire

When you downloaded it, are you sure it said it was saving it in the /tmp folder? Download it again, and this time make sure you know where it is going. I have a folder I made in my home folder called "downloads" just so I know where they always are.
