    Linux for Pre-schoolers

Okay this might be a larger undertaking than I can handle, but what's life without challenges! I want to set-up a computer for my 3 year old since he's already figured out how to use the keyboard and mouse and play some of his favorite "Thomas the Tank Engine" games online. Now I've played with Linux many time before but am not a current linux user. I have an older P2-333 I want to use and want to try this out running linux. The main questions I have are is there a way to easilly allow one the websites that I want him to access, this is not to say he uses the computer unattended regularly but I don't want him to come across the wrong site. Also are there any good educational games for linux for pre-schoolers?

    Thanks all for the help,
    BK

These two links may help you:
    http://www.edubuntu.org/
    http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ad.php?t=62984

Honestly, though, a three-year-old will probably not stumble upon any inappropriate sites accidentally, especially if you use Google's filtering options in the search preferences.

I highly doubt a three-year-old would be deliberately searching for porn, so it would have to be accidental, and that's tough.

I'll check out those links thanks for the info. and yea I don't think he'll be able to get anywhere but it's more of an extra precaution and just something else for me to play around with.
