    CAPS Lock

Prior to KDE 4.1 I had my caps lock key turned off. The setting for this are still there but my caps lock key is working normally

How do I tell KDE that I want it turned off?

    Which version of KDE?

If KDE 4.2, take a look at System Settings>Regional & Language>Keyboard Layout>Advanced>Capslock Key Behavior. I'm not sure what all you can do there, but maybe one of them will neutralize it.

      Thanx.

Yeah, it's got a number of options in there but none to turn it off. It only allows one swap option (I used to have it swap to a ctrl key) which swaps it with Esc - this would be a lot worse.

Check the same dialog under Ctrl-key options, it should have options to either swap ctrl and capslock or to make capslock an additional ctrl key.
