How do I remove kubuntu so I can start fresh?

    From XP click Start > Run > input msconfig
    tab BOOT.INI and verify contents below [operating system].
    Try Move Up/Down for changing the priority if there is more than one entry shown.
    Click Check All Boot Paths. This step should fix any problems...

    click Start > right-click My Computer, select Properties
    tab Advanced click Settings under Startup and Recovery

    verify the Default operating system from the drop down menu. If there is more than one OS (in your situation, yes), click Edit to manually delete any unwanted operating system to appear during startup.

    Save a copy of the boot file before making any changes and if possible, create a recovery point.
