I'm unable to delete a certain file

So basically I have this folder and I want to delete it. I can rename it but that's about all. I can't move the folder or any of its files; I can't delete the folder or any of its files either. Every time I try to do anything with it aside from rename it, I get a message that says "Access Denied to /home/etc" help!

Likely a permissions/ownership issue. You can change the permissions if you want, but if you just want to delete it, you can start dolphin 'as root' with Alt+F2 'kdesudo dolphin'...which should enable you to delete it. Be careful when working 'as root'.
