For some reason, after I installed kubuntu on my pc, it goes through the loading screen, then after it is done, the screen goes blank, and a little box shows up on my monitor, that floats around the screen saying support not found? do you think it might be because I installed it on a different hard drive, so the driver support is not found? I have installed Ubuntu and Mandriva the same way with now problems.

Sounds like a video card issue.
If you are at all familiar with command line, try to boot into the recovery console and reset your xorg.conf settings.

That's no shame at all, you can also do while avoiding command prompts
Reboot. Once you see the GRUB menu, select the entry with "Recovery Mode", this will send you to a menu in which you can select "fix x-server". Select and press enter.
