      I'm surprised that the solution I posted didn't work for you, but I guess that a little alteration of the xorg.conf file would surely help.
      Pity you decided to drop Kubuntu, but I thank you for letting us know. Be welcome to try it again.
      Once your problem is solved please edit the first post of your topic and add [SOLVED] in front of the subject. In that way, others can benefit from your experience!

        hey john i appriciate ur help but right now quite busy and i dont have time to do this, i try ur conf file it crash GUI and start with cammand and agian i have to delete all the thing from xorg file then it start with same resolution.
        u can give me suggestion but i dont know when i got time to try that

          Very interesting post

          One point is very interesting, that is the ability to actually create an xorg.conf file. So, is that saying if we decide to create one that xorg wouldn't ignore it?
