d-linkg650 not working after install

HELLO...

I HAVE DONE THE FULL KUBUNTU 6.06 KUBUNTU INSTALL AND NOW MY WIRELESS D-LINK DOES NOT WORK, IT SAYS NETWORK IS OUT OF RANGE!!

IT WORKS WITH THE KUBUNTU LIVE CD, AND WIN XP...

I HAVE READ THRU THE NETWORKING FORUMS AND IS LIKE READING CHINESE, NOT A CLUE WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT... IT IS TAKING ME THIS LONG TO FIGURE OUT THAT WHEN REFERRING TO "A BOX".... THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT A COMPUTER....LOL!!!!!

WHEN THEY SAY OPEN A CONSOLE....WHERE DO YOU DO THAT.... HOW DO YOU DO THAT

I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR HELP

Hi,

To open a konsole, you should press <Alt>+<F2> then type konsole in the box and press enter, then you will get a konsole opened and will be able to continue.

I DONT KNOW WHAT I DID.. BUT THE WIRELESS CARD IS WORKING NOW JUST FINE...
I CHANGE SO MANY SETTINGS I DONT KNOW WHICH ONE IS THE ONE THAT WORKED....SHEEESH...LOL
