    Please help me get my desktop back from Nautilus...

    Hi all,

    I am a newbie trying to learn Kubuntu. While tryint to solve a problem I had with bluetooth mouse/keyboard I installed what I thought was a utility. It was Nautilus. I did not know that I would have a completely different desktop (which I really don't like).

    Can someone plz tell me how I can get the original desktop (KDE) that I had when I installed Kubuntu? I am running Intrepid 8.10. Thanks.

    You "should" be able to choose KDE as your desktop environment when you are logging in. Are you still presented with the KDM login screen? Click on the 'paper' icon and choose as your session, KDE.
    Windows no longer obstructs my view.
