hi guys! I'm new here and with kubuntu.
Anyway with some help i've made it out and now i can do almost everithing i need to do... ecept using my network hard drive!
the situation is really simple:
hdd -> router wifi -> computer
once i try to open my network hdd, for example by dolphin, the browser make me see the shared directory on the hdd (containing all the other directories such as "music" "movies" etc...), named PUBLIC, but clicking on it dolphin show up a message like "the peripheral is unexpectedly dead" (wtf does this means at all
) (consider i'm using kubuntu in italian language and i don't know if the original english version report the same message in such situation).
Also i tried out to acces to the hard drive by konqueror, by smb4k, by the command line (konsole)... anyway tere is the same error message.
now, considering i'm really new to kubuntu and linux in general, what could i do? i will apreciate even just a link, but please help me somehow!
