This is a small but irritating problem to me with the icons in the taskbar to the right. They seem to sometimes have a background which is part of a previous icon or screen display. I attach a screenshot to help understand what I mean. The two icons affected in this case are ktorrent and klipper.
I searched for this issue on the forum but didn't find anything useful.
I am running kubuntu 8.10 and have a Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS 320MB card and it's running the Nvidia accelerated graphics driver (version 177) (recommended) according to 'hardware drivers' application.
There seems to be no pattern to it. It happens very often but not to specific icons and does not always occur. It usually does not affect all icons.
It may be related but I often get graphical glitches, especially when resizing windows.
