only installed packages show in package manager

Well, the only packages that show up when I open adept are the ones that are installed

In addition, when I go to the add/remove programs box, everything but what I have installed is grayed out.

Just in case anyone is wondering, this happened when I plugged in a lan cable.

nevermind, problem solved.

Apparently I needed to get some updates.
