xine no drivers found

When trying to use amarok an error message says xine found no drivers.I think the audio drivers are not installed as even kmix does not work any help please btw i have a compaq presario laptop

Please tell us what version of Kubuntu you have installed.

Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.
