This is my first try at installing Kubuntu, I followed the instructions I received when downloading Kubuntu 8.10, resized the partition and it seemed to install but I do not receive a boot menu when I restart, it just goes straight to Windows. Searched the knowledge base, can't find applicable posts, any suggestions?

If you didn't follow The definitive dual-booting guide: Linux, Vista and XP step-by-step you should read though it and compare to the process you took. This guide works.Windows no longer obstructs my view.

Do you have more than one HDD? Are you installing Kubuntu to the same drive as Windows?Comment
