Klibido now works but what to do with rar and PAR2 files

I've no idea what happens to these in the Linux world !

I was delighted I'd managed to get Klibido downloaded and functioning !

My understanding of this technology is not as good as zero !

What application do I need to put them into to get anything useful out of it !

Installed a thing called unrar and something else very like it and clicking on a rar file seemed to get Ark to expand it and it played aok !

No idea whats going on but it worked !

As nobody responded I assume either it was obvious or no one knew *LOL*

You will want to make sure that you have the non-free version of unrar installed. The free version has let me down in the past. Install par2 for your parity checks and repairs, if you haven't already. Their are a couple of gui's for the pars, but I like the terminal. Klibido has a non-transactional database....So the database files can become corrupted when unexpected things happen.
