I am on 8.04. I just became aware that my keyboard isn't working when trying to type something into Google search. It is also not working in Virtualbox running win2000. However I have a dual boot with win2000 and keyboard is working there, so not a hardware prob. After doing a search of similar probs here, I checked if "sticky keys" is selected and it is not. It may have started when I pressed shift key too long but not sure. Could someone help?

There is also (IIRC) a 'slow keys' setting (different than 'sticky keys') that you should check on.Windows no longer obstructs my view.

SOLVED System settings>Accessibility>Keyboard filters. Uncheck "Use slow keys"Comment
