    keyboard not working

I am on 8.04. I just became aware that my keyboard isn't working when trying to type something into Google search. It is also not working in Virtualbox running win2000. However I have a dual boot with win2000 and keyboard is working there, so not a hardware prob. After doing a search of similar probs here, I checked if "sticky keys" is selected and it is not. It may have started when I pressed shift key too long but not sure. Could someone help?

There is also (IIRC) a 'slow keys' setting (different than 'sticky keys') that you should check on.

SOLVED System settings>Accessibility>Keyboard filters. Uncheck "Use slow keys"

Great. Return to you initial post in this thread and click the modify button and add SOLVED to the subject line. That way, the post will be identified as SOLVED.
