Problem writing yahoo mail in Konquerer

Hi,

I just got Kubuntu 8.04 installed and my internet connection up, thanks to a private adviser.
However I cannot email him from my yahoo account, have to go back to my old Windows laptop.
Reason: the text field in the mail composing window does not accept type. Even the buttons for Font, Size, etc. do not show up.

Anyone knows of this problem and how to solve it?

You can go to the the top menu where there should be an option to emulate another browser, I would try IE or firefox since they are the most compatible.

Or you can just switch to one of those more compatible browsers such as firefox or opera. I was never too fond of knoqueror myself for the same reason, so I got opera.

I ran into that a few days ago. I have to disable something in yahoo-mail but I can't find it anymore. Just poke around and you will see it. I hardly ever use yahoo, so I am not expert.

I switched to Firefox, the easiest solution!
