As toad says, download the CD, stuff it in the drive, and play around with it to see if you like it.

You can get Hardy from here: http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu-kd....04.1/release/ which has both the KDE 3 and the new KDE 4 desktops.

Or you can get Intrepid from here: http://releases.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/intrepid/ which is KDE 4 only.

I would recomend 8.10 as it looks better than 8.04 but i dont really know exatley how stable KDE4 is right now.
Try to install it in wubi first because its very hard to remove it if you install it as dual-boot.

I found that it's simple to remove Linux installations with XP, stuff the XP CD in the drive, tell it to <Repair> the installation, and - at the prompt - fixmbr and fixboot.

Where can I download it for the live cd? And how do I burn it to a cd? And If I do like it how do I install it all the way? And If I don't like it how do I uninstall it?

Sorry for the little blitz of questions lol

Edit: Assuming Sithlord was right, scratch those first two questions and one more thing, do you guys recommend KDE 4 or 3? Just makin sure cause if you say 4 than I'm gonna go with Intrepid (i think)

Intrepid will be a bit of a learning-curve, but i'd be inclined to say get it, burn it, stuff it in, put it on.

If you mean World of Warcraft, I used to play that using Wine. There's a guide here:

Take it easy, the higher the monkey climbs, the further he falls - not only a great song but also very true (I've had some spectacular falls). So take it easy and be sure you can retrace your steps

Get a successfully burned LiveCD first. Test it - try it out first - before installing. This will permit you to see what does and does not work on your PC before installing. It will operate slower (off of the LiveCD), but you won't do any thing to your existing system. "Try before you buy."

Well I'm still working on getting a few things back on my computer after reformatting, once I do that I'm going to run the LiveCD and see how it goes
