can I use utorrent as default in Kubuntu 8.04?

yes. back with another weird question.
Why not use Azureus or kTorrent?
Well, Because uTorrent has the neat little feature that puts all leeched torrents in one folder and then moves them to another folder when seeding. Great. Besides, my wife who still hate kubuntu wants uTorrent.

I don't know about "default" but it seems to work in Linux? Try the instructions here: http://news.softpedia.com/news/uTorr...ps-49037.shtml

    Change Step 2 to read:
    sudo kate /usr/bin/utorrent

I would just install wine and then download and open the .exe. I think that does the same thing as the link above. As for making it default, thats a little more fun. Google says this...

I haven't tried it out yet (I use ktorrent) I'll check it out tomorrow. As for seperating the leeching and downloading Ktorrent does that too. Go the top where the tabs are and on the right side there is a button to make another tab. Click one of the tabs and go to groups on the left side and click on uploads, then click the other tab and under groups click downloads. As for the wife hating kubuntu, can't really help you there.
