I am not at all aware of how to set up a modem in kubuntu. i know how to get to some of the places to do it in gnome (mostly ubuntu user, new to kde), but i have never actually set it up. i was trying to find some of the places to start, and i couldnt even find them!! if anybody knows of a guide where i can find help for 8.10, i would really thank them. i have vista as well, but im hoping to go totally free of it, only thing holding me back is the modem (sadly i will be forced to give up games as dx10 isnt for linux and opengl is mostly dead), so if anyone knows anything please let me know. thanks
