which is unofficial. If you have the same it is probably OK.There should also be a CD self diagnostic you can run after burning if you need more assurance.

FWIW, I always use K3b, which checks the MD5sum directly from the ISO, this is really convenient :-)

Check the "md5sums" file here, and make sure you're looking at the ISO that is applicable to your architecture:

http://ubuntu.osuosl.org/releases/kubuntu/intrepid/
