    update failure message (8.04/3.5.10)

    I just did the update my system requested (8.04/3.5.10) which ended with:

    Setting up linux-headers-2.6.24-21 (2.6.24-21.43) ...
    Setting up linux-headers-2.6.24-21-generic (2.6.24-21.43) ...
    Examining /etc/kernel/header_postinst.d.
    run-parts: executing /etc/kernel/header_postinst.d/dkms
    * Running DKMS auto installation service for kernel 2.6.24-21-generic
    * fglrx (8-6)...
    fglrx: Multiple versions in DKMS. Unsure what to do. Resolve manually.
    [fail]

    how does one go about "Resolve manually"?

    I solve the same issue following this link:

    http://64.233.169.104/search?q=cache...ient=firefox-a

    after that, I update and upgrade the system... I solve de DKMS issue, but after this, in games with fullscreen mode, the X server crashes..

    is not a defenitive solution, but it's works.

    bye... and keep searching for solutions...
