Missing final newline?

   Just recently while running Breezy I keep getting an error whenever I try to get a package from Adept or Synaptic. The error reeds:

`libio-zlib-perl' is missing final newline 

I get this even when trying to remove or reinstall the package "libio-zlib-perl". Google has nothing. Anyone here have any ideas?

Libio-zlib-perl seems to install properly on my machine. Is there a broken version of the package on your system now? If so, you can use Synaptic to get rid of it. Click on "Custom" in the lower left box of the left column, and then "broken" in the top left column. If libio-zlib-perl shows up in the right column, right click on it and decide what you want to do. I'd remove it, then reload your repos, and try to install it again.
