    Adept manager problems

    (Kubuntu 8.04.1 i386) Installed yesterday

I have problems with my adept package manager. Yesterday i tried to install some java stuff and an error occured. Ever since then, whenever i open my adept manager i get a message saying:

"another process is using the packaging system database (probably some other adept application or apt-get or aptitude)"

I then get to choose between resolving the problem, opening adept read-only or canceling. When i choose resolve, a "Adept Manager - The KDE Crash Handler" window opens. Which obviously doesnt seem to resolve a thing.

I cant install new packages in the meanwhile. Help!

    Edit: Possibly usefull information:
    lordsloth@Tenma:/media$ ps -elf|grep adept
    0 R 1000 7049 5633 0 80 0 - 751 - 08:41 pts/1 00:00:00 grep adept
So I dont know what exactly is causing it since there dont appear to be any other adept things running.

    Re: Adept manager problems

    Never mind!

The problem was apparently missing dependencies from the crashed install.

If anybody else has this problem i recommend:
    sudo apt-get -f install
