I've installed Kubuntu 5.10 Breezy, and I'm pretty impressed with it.
Struggled a bit with mounting some network drives but that's all sorted.
I'm very used to Windows, but have had enough of it so want to go to Linux.
Anyway, I need to install my Freecom DVB-T USB stick, but it doesn't seem to be loading any drivers and I've no idea how to sort this.
The stick works fine in Windows so I know the hardware is good.
From dmesg I get the following. USB 5-6 is the Freecom stick.
[4294675.876000] usb 5-6: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2
[4294676.271000] usb 5-8: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 4
[4294676.512000] usb 4-1: new low speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
[4294677.521000] usbcore: registered new driver hiddev
[4294677.536000] input: USB HID v1.00 Mouse [413c:3010] on usb-0000:00:1d.3-1
[4294677.536000] usbcore: registered new driver usbhid
[4294677.536000] drivers/usb/input/hid-core.c: v2.01:USB HID core driver
Any help of what I need to do would be much appreciated.
