Linux and Vista Network

I have linux running on this computer which is the host computer and my dad has his laptop running vista. Is there anyway that he would be able to print a document over the network to a printer while i am still in linux without having to switch out to vista? Thanks

Sure (ok, not really sure about vista).

If you install your printer and share it with smb, you should be able to print to it from vista( I don't have vista, can't check )
