    Problems in GDebi

    Okay,
I really does't know whats going on here....

I want to install some apps...

For example tuxguitar 1.01final.I've downloaded the .deb ... i openit...

It asks me if I want to install it, the windows says that all the dependencies are satisfaed
    I press the install+ botton

then it start to complete a tiny bar at the top-right side of the window..
then it says that ive not selected a valid .deb ...

So... My instalation is fresh new, and i donno what to do.
Does it have a way to install in command-line??

    Thanks!!!

At a guess i would say that maybe the download is corrupt, maybe if you re-download it....?

Tuxguitar is also available in the repositories, no idea if that version is the correct one, though.

    Good Luck.

Yes........ even I had that error.......... But I found a way around it..........

      dpkg -i *.deb

      then everything worked............
(yes ,I believegdebi has an error that has to be fixed)

possible reason:- When it says that every dependency is fixed......... It starts to install but then seeing that particular package ain't there in the adept repo......... it quits.......

Happens only with packages downloaded from external source...........
