First off, Hello everyone. I'm new to the furum and Linux. Thanks in advance for your help.
I'm using an old Pentuim 3 box as a file server on my home network. So far I've gotten folder sharing to work over the wired connection through my 3wire router, but I can not see the file server over the WiFi.
In addition to that, I can not seem to get Remote Desktop sharing to work. Even though I've enabled it on the Kubuntu machine, it does not accept connections. If I could just get this setup, I could tuck the server away somewhere and log in when I need to work on it.
Help especially with the Remote Desktop connection would be greatly appreciated. I know it should be a relatively simple thing, but I just can't get it to work.
